Introducing Dr Nermeen El Desouky

Dr Nermeen is currently  Professor of Clinical Pathology and Head of blood transfusion center at Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. She has an extensive experience in laboratory and blood transfusion medicine (including blood screening for transfusion transmitted infections TTIs ) across Cairo University Hospitals ( 14 hospitals with +4000 beds ).

An Educator on the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical Programs, a qualified Examiner on the Board for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs, Supervisor of Master and Doctorate thesis, a creative researcher, a fluent and a dynamic speaker with tactful facilitation and moderation capabilities. 

Recently, she has joined the Clinical Pathology department of Armed Force Collage of Medicine (AFCM) as  professor of hematology and transfusion medicine. In addition, Dr Nermeen is working as a senior consultant for Laboratory and Transfusion medicine at Wadi El Nile hospital, Cairo since March 2019.

She believes that collaboration and teamwork are the keys for success.
